Success stories are often born from struggles. My journey as an IT aspirant started with failures that felt insurmountable at the time. From failing in five subjects in 10th grade to discovering my passion for cloud computing, I’ve faced challenges that transformed me into who I am today. Let me share how I turned failure into motivation and took charge of my future.
The Early Years: A Rollercoaster in School
Carefree Days (8th Grade, 2017)
Life seemed simple and fun—filled with friends, laughter, and endless mischief. Right now I like one subject very much and that is computer.
9th Grade (2018)
A major change hit me when boys and girls were separated in school, altering the classroom dynamics.
10th Grade: The Turning Point (2019)
My lack of focus, poor revision habits, and distractions like TV and friends led to failure in 10th grade in five subjects.
Depression followed, as did self-doubt. I saw the true colors of friends and family, learning who truly stood by me.
Realization struck: Success demanded change and determination.
The First Goal: Turning Failure Into a Comeback
March 2020: I qualified in one subject (Social Science) through sheer hard work.
July 2021: Cleared science, technology, and English with surprisingly good marks (around 50). It felt like a huge achievement and brought immense happiness.
March 2022: I successfully passed 10th grade with standard maths, marking the end of a long struggle.
The Journey Through Science
11th Grade (Feb2022–March 2023):
Despite my excitement about pursuing science, mathematics was a significant hurdle. Low marks and lack of understanding became daily struggles.
12th Grade (April(2023)–September 2023):
After changing schools in April 2023, I found a math teacher whose lessons clicked perfectly. However, the immense academic pressure and warnings about my performance led me to make a difficult choice: dropping out and transitioning to NIOS.
The Game Changer: Transition to NIOS
Realizing the gap between private and government schools, I decided to drop out and switch to NIOS for 12th grade.
Challenges:
Limited attendance (3–5 months).
Financial pressures (fees of ₹42k paid upfront).
Lesson: Focus on the goal, not the obstacles.
Discovering My Passion: Cloud Computing
During this time, I stumbled upon cloud computing, a field that fascinated me.
Hours of research led me to understand its potential and versatility.
Determined to pursue BSc IT (Cloud Computing), I set clear goals and strategies to excel.
The Present: Moving Towards the Future
October 2024: Successfully completed my 12th-grade NIOS exams with 68% marks.
Registered for admission to Parul University’s BSc IT (Cloud Computing) program.
Simultaneously managing other responsibilities, including a pending eye surgery.
