Lessons I’ve Learned While Pursuing a Career in IT

From Failures to Foundations: My Journey Toward a Tech-Driven Future

My Journey—A Story of Struggles and Resilience

When I look back at my life, it feels like a rollercoaster of emotions, failures, and hard-fought victories. My journey started as an average school kid who loved to have fun and play, but life had other plans. Failing in five subjects during my 10th grade (2019) was the turning point. It wasn’t just a failure; it was a reality check. That phase transformed me from being an extroverted boy to an introverted thinker.

But this setback also awakened something within me—a burning desire to fight back. By March 2020, I qualified in Social Science, and in July 2021, I passed Science, Technology, and English with marks that felt like miracles. By March 2022, I had conquered 10th grade with Standard Maths.

It was during this time that I discovered my passion for technology, particularly cloud computing.

This blog is not just a personal story. It’s a guide, an inspiration, and a reflection of lessons that could help you navigate your challenges, especially if you dream of pursuing a career in IT.

Key Lessons From My IT Journey

1. Resilience is the Key to Success

The Challenge: Failing in 10th grade was devastating, but it taught me the value of resilience.

Lesson: Instead of giving up, break the problem into smaller steps and tackle each one. For instance, I focused on one subject at a time and celebrated every small win.

2. Adaptability is Essential

The Challenge: Transitioning to NIOS after dropping out of 12th grade (2023) was difficult.

Lesson: Embrace change when the current path isn’t working. Switching to a flexible system helped me focus on my goals while managing personal challenges.

3. Self-Discovery Fuels Passion

The Challenge: Finding my interest in cloud computing wasn’t immediate.

Lesson: Take time to explore various fields. Researching cloud computing gave me clarity about what I wanted to achieve.

4. Managing Finances Wisely

The Challenge: My family invested in expensive school fees, which taught me the importance of budgeting.

Lesson: Always evaluate the ROI of your decisions. Education is a valuable investment, but managing finances smartly ensures long-term benefits.

How My Past Fuels My Future
